Privacy policy.
This policy explains what personal data KAVACH ("we", "us") collects when you use kavach-demo.getsitenexa.com and order from us, and how we use it. It is written to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Order details you send us on WhatsApp: your name, phone number, delivery address, PIN code and the items you order.
- Data stored on your device: your kit bag and the delivery details you last entered are saved in your browser's local storage so you don't have to type them again. This data never reaches our servers. Clear your browser storage to remove it.
- Basic technical data: our hosting provider may log your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and performance.
How we use it
- To confirm, fulfil and deliver your order, and to handle exchanges and refunds.
- To reply to your questions.
- To meet tax and accounting obligations (GST invoices).
We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
- Courier partners, only your name, phone and address, to deliver your order.
- Payment providers, when you pay by UPI or bank transfer.
- WhatsApp (Meta), as the channel you choose to message us on. Their own privacy policy applies.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for up to 8 years as required by Indian tax law. Chat history is deleted after 12 months unless an order is open.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to orders@kavach.in. We respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Local storage is used only for your kit bag, as described above.
